Types of Permits Issued by Buckeye Lake Village

Permit Types Apply When: 
Zoning Permit Application

New builds, additions or alterations to existing structures

Rezoning Permit Application

Change the zoning district of a property

Lot Split Permit Application 

Divide one parcel into two or more lots before selling, transferring or developing

Lot Combination Permit Application

Combine two or more parcels into one lot

Variance Permit Application

Requesting an exception to the zoning code.

*You must first pull a Zoning Permit. All variances are reviewed by the Board of Zoning Appeals

Conditional Use Permit Application 

Proposed use is listed under "Conditional Use" in Zoning Code according to your district. 

*All Conditional Use permits are reviewed by the Board of Zoning Appeals

Certificate of Occupancy

New construction is complete or when there has been a change of use on the property

Sign Permit

Installing, replacing, or modifying any sign

Fence Permit

Installing or replacing a fence

Porch, Patio, Gazebo, Deck, Shelter Permit

Required before constructing, installing or modyfying
