Licking County Humane Society's J.T. Callander Bright Spot Veterinary Wellness Pet Clinic

A wonderful FREE veterinary wellness service coming to the Recreation Center on June 20th!
Saturday, June 20th, #LCHSpets will be at the Buckeye Lake Recreation Center and providing free veterinary wellness care for dogs and cats belonging to unhoused neighbors and income-qualified families.

WHAT: A drop-in veterinary wellness clinic* for pet owners in the unsheltered population and income-qualified families.
                      • Essential vaccines will be available at the clinic.
WHERE: Buckeye Lake Recreation Center (118 Third Street, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008)
WHEN: Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 10AM - 12PM
                     • No appointment necessary.
                     • First-come, first-served. Last check-in will be at 11:30am.
WHO: Dogs & Cats - limit 2 pets per family
           • Services are not guaranteed and are subject to clinic capacity, medical eligibility, and staff discretion.
HOW: To be seen at the Bright Spot Clinic, clients will either:
1. provide a voucher from a Licking County Humane Society Humane Agent
2. provide proof of income qualification & a government ID
                    • Please bring one of the following: Section 8 housing voucher, schedule letter from Ohio Works First, Ohio Medicaid card, letter of service-related disability from Veteran Benefits Administration, Ohio Direction Card, Social Security Disability letter, most recent tax return (does not exceed 150% of the federal poverty guidelines).

Donations for the care provided are welcome but not required.
