NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

VILLAGE OF BUCKEYE LAKE – COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Village of Buckeye Lake, Licking County, Ohio will hold a public hearing on May 11, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Village Municipal Offices at 5192 Walnut Rd SE Buckeye Lake, OH 43008.  The purpose of the public hearing will be to hear public comment on the adoption of brand-new proposed zoning code and map to replace the current zoning code for the Village of Buckeye Lake.

Kids to Parks Day Event 2026

Join us for a Kids to Parks Day event on Sunday May 17th from 11am - 2pm at Ryan-Braden Park!
This event is to encourage children and families to enjoy outdoor play in local, state, and national parks, with Saturday May 16th being officially proclaimed as Kids to Parks Day 2026 by Mayor Goodman.
Join us for games, food, music, and fun!

2026 Spring Clean-Up Days

Begins: 5/20/2026 - 8:00AM
Ends: 5/23/2026 - 4:00PM

Spring Clean-Up is coming!
May 20 - May 22 (8am-6pm) and May 23 (8am - 4pm)
Free dumpsters will be available behind Village Hall at 5192 Walnut Road for resident use during the dates and hours listed. Please be prepared to show proof of residency here in the village.
Don't forget about our local churches, food pantry, and donation centers for items you find that can be donated!
Please note that tires were accepted for a fee in the past, however they will not be accepted this year.

Ohio Free Fishing Days 2026

OHIO FREE FISHING DAYS

On June 20 and 21, 2026, all Ohio residents are invited to experience Ohio's fantastic public fishing opportunities, including our very own Buckeye Lake, without purchasing a license.

All size and daily limits apply during these two days, per ODNR.
